Do Florence in a day commuting from Rome with Tours & Tours! Our expert guide will give you a whirlwind tour of one of Italy’s most fascinating cities and one of the most culturally significant places on Earth!

You’ll pop out of Florence Santa Maria Novella station a little before 9.00 am (it’s an early start!) and grab some breakfast with our Tours & Tours expert guide before a stroll around the historical center. Our first appointment will be at the Uffizi Gallery, where we’ll take in such masterpieces as Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and works by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Titian.

We’ll take in Ponte Vecchio - the oldest and most beautiful bridge over the River Arno; the great Duomo - the most easily recognizable symbol of Florence and masterpiece of civil engineering by Brunelleschi; and that’s not to mention the Palazzo della Signoria, Piazza della Repubblica and the Doors of Saint John Baptistery.

A viewing of Michelangelo’s David in the Galleria dell’Accademia is also included on this tour. All this then back to Rome in time for dinner!

Schedule

- 7.15am: Train departs from Termini Station, Rome.

- 8.51am: Train arrives in Florence where you will be met by your guide who will take you to have some free time to freshen up and have some breakfast.

- 10.00am: Guided visit through the Uffizi Museum (approximately 1.5 hours).

- 12.00pm: Lunch Break - lunch not included in the price but we can advise you of the best places to eat.

- 13.30pm: Start your walking tour through the city, crossing the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Signoria, then rub the Porcellino's Nose for luck before heading off to see Palazzo Strozzi.

- 3.00pm: Guided visit at the Accademia with the opportunity to see the statue of Michelangelo (approximately 1 hour).

- 4.00pm: Free time to enjoy Florence.

- 6.08pm: Return Train departs for Rome.

- 7.40pm: Train arrives in Rome, Termini Station.
