Galleria Borghese

Located in the former Villa Borghese Pinciana, home to the Borghese collection of paintings, sculptures and antiques. Here you will find the following works by Caravaggio.

  • St. Jerome Writing – c. 1605

Basilica of Santa Maria del Popolo

One of the minor Basilicas of Rome, situated on the north side of Piazza del Popolo, and home to the following Caravaggio works.

  • Crucifixion of St. Peter – 1600
  • Conversion of St. Paul – 1601

 

Basilica of St. Augustine in Campo Marzio

In one of the first Renaissance Roman churches you will find the following masterpiece.

  • Madonna of Loreto or Pilgrim’s Madonna – 1606

 

Palazzo Corsini

The National Gallery of Ancient Art opened in 1895, housing the only 1700s collection of paintings in Rome renaming today.
